The failure to rebuild the real World Trade Center is the ultimate disconnect between the American people and our government. There is no difference between the arrogance that led to the banking meltdown and the arrogance of building a World Trade Center nobody wants. The people are the brains and the heart of this country, but no one in power cares to listen -- except to figure out how to best manipulate us.

The most important step you can take to help rescue the Twin Towers is to send us a short video that tells us who you are, where you’re from, and why you think rebuilding the Twin Towers is important.

Please distill into a video of a minute or less why wanting to restore the skyline with better than ever Twin Towers is important to you. Visualize yourself speaking to a room of people who hold the key to a better world -- or else focus on a particular person and communicate what is on your mind and in your heart as if it really matters, because it really does.

You are free to expand your comment in the body of the message. It will appear with your video as a permanent record of your hopes and dreams for a better world. We have until Labor Day to prepare the video that we will send to on to Washington DC, along with a book of a thousand selected comments from the TTA petition for the US Congress and White House to review.

We think there are some real changes in store for the WTC site and are getting this video project moving forward just in time. We hope that everyone who reads this will suspend their ideas of what is and isn't likely and, instead, take a stand for the record on what is and isn't fitting.

What we build on that ground that witnessed such suffering and valor has to be dedicated to bringing out the best in our country and each other. Anything less would be a crime.

Believe us… It’s NOT too late. Powerful people are trying to make it look like it is, but how could something that is so wrong for the country be inevitable? Only if we accept it. Don’t!

After all, when Keith Olbermann and Glenn Beck actually agree on something, that's worth watching because it's just the tip of the iceberg... There is tremendous bipartisan support for repairing, not revising, the legendary New York skyline. As one man wrote in 2002: "Just as I want my wife back, people want their towers back. The latter is possible, the former not... Don't let today's fears control tomorrow's dreams."
